Graeme Murray's widow; born Anne Banner, now Anne Banner Murray. Mother of Eric and Arthur Murray. A figure of homo magi high society who has never forgiven the damage done to her reputation and standing by her sons' refusals to comply with her plans.
Biography
Anne disowned Arthur when he refused to marry a woman and produce heirs. She then placed all her social ambitions on Eric, arranging his marriage to Elya Eldor, scion of the Eldor clan and daughter of the Archmage. Eric's elopement with Vera — a Faroese hedge witch looked down upon by the Council — was a catastrophic blow to Anne's ego and reputation. Now operating quietly in the background, she has begun secretly arranging a marriage between Eva Murray and the son of the headmaster of Merriam Academy. Eva and her immediate family have no knowledge of this.

Structured into regional Orders; the Pacific Order covers the Pacific Northwest and is currently headed by Archmage Isseya Eldor. Odette Hale was a member before her banishment; Eric Murray is a legacy member.
