Arthur Murray
Eric Murray's twin brother — born first. His umbilical cord was wrapped around Eric's neck in utero; Eric technically died and was resuscitated. Both Arthur and Eric survived; this generation is an anomaly in the Clan Murray Curse's otherwise unbroken pattern. A gay man, proud of it. Was disowned by his mother Anne Murray when he refused to marry a woman and produce heirs; the schism between them is permanent.

The Clan Murray Curse tried and failed with this generation — Eric technically died in utero (Arthur's cord around Eric's neck) and was resuscitated. Some may argue this is why the curse doubled down on the next generation: Eva and Asher. Arthur's survival as the older twin is the anomaly that makes Asher's death feel like a debt collected. Arthur being alive also means Eric has a living twin — a fact Eva may not fully reckon with until later. Arthur's refusal to comply with Anne's plans was the first crack in her project — before Eric eloped, before any of it. His disownment is the event that transferred all of Anne's ambitions onto Eric. He is the reason she put everything on one son, and that pressure is what broke the Eldor arrangement apart. He does not know what Anne is now doing to Eva. Arthur nearly died at the Hell Hunt when Pasha Lovetts betrayed him, Eric, and Cary. Cary did not survive. This was not Arthur's near-death as a resuscitation event — the in-utero incident was Eric's death, not Arthur's. Arthur's Hell Hunt near-death is entirely separate. Whether the Clan Murray Curse or something else is protecting him is worth leaving as an open question. Arthur over-romanticized his connection to Pasha before Hell Night. Pasha's betrayal was both a friendship betrayal and a romantic one — Arthur had feelings for Pasha that Pasha may or may not have known about, and the abandonment cut deeper than a purely strategic betrayal would have. Arthur was blindsided on both axes. He has never fully named this to Eric.
